Finishing & Beginning, Again

We learned Tyrel will was selected to beon the 10-year-old Fusion baseball team. So we had exactly 0 weeks break from the end of basketball before baseball practice began. It should be interesting to see how this team does given how new they are. After watching them practice a few times I am excited by the chance to see a team play that was filled with kids who want to play baseball. Tyrel is excited as there are several of hir friends friends also on this team. On top of the Fusion team, little league tryouts are this week!

Tyrel had his first soccer game, and win, this week as well. I forgot that spring soccer means cold games. Saturday’s game was no exception. All parents and spectators on the sideline shivered as the players seemed to hardly notice the weather. Being distracted by the weather, I admit I didn’t pay close attention to the entire game, so I had to ask Tyrel if he scored this game. He stated he did, but I’m not too certain.
Erin continues to treat our house as a gymnasium. She hardly takes two consecutive steps without turning a cartwheel. At times, she will spontaneously bust out into a fit of cartwheeling that will last until she hurts herself or until she is out of breath, whichever comes first. Without exception, she is the self-proclaimed cartwheel expert in all the land.
