Beware the Ides of March

The weather has been taunting us here in southwest Utah. The night temperatures have mellowed and the days, with temperatures reaching into the 60’s, remind even the least observant among us that summer must be just around the corner.

Then there was last Friday night. During the night is snowed between 4-6 inches and turned bitter cold. This storm was followed by a second Monday night with the morning temperature dropping to 4 degrees! Despite wishing winter away I am grateful for the water this snow will bring and also know the snow will not last long as the sun usually has it melted before noon. Surely the soothsayer’s warning to Julius Caesar to “beware the ides of March” applies to us and March weather.

With nearly a terminal case of cabin fever we decided a trip to St. George had to be the cure. We were right. While there we took the kids to the temple grounds and took a few photos before stopping into the visitor’s center. A few photos and a short film later was a good break from the other things found on our “To Do List.”

Erin is getting ready to register for Kindergarten this week. Ready or not here she comes!

Cute pic of the kids. If Cabin fever gets to bad jump on a plane and come for a visit before amy can't fly anymore. We'll just hang at the beach in the day and play phase 10 at night drink virgin pina coladas and eat chips and salsa are ya in?
